Cloud Foxes

Just in case I haven't clarified, my dreams rarely have a beginning or an end. I just remember right in the middle of it.

Jabe and I are lying on a trampoline outside of my old home in the country. We are slightly cold and sharing a blanket. Jabe keeps telling me to come closer so we can get warm. I start noticing the weather doing odd things. I see steam (not smoke) coming out of the chimney and turning into huge clouds that touch the ground and float back up into the sky. They aren't fluffly clouds, but rigid, pointy and thick. Suddenly, the wind picks up huge objects and they land a few yards past the house. The two main objects I remember are a bulldozer and a pickup truck. I tell Jabe about the objects being hurled overhead, but he doesn't hear them and his back is to everything happening, so he doesn't see it. He doesn't believe me when I tell him what's happening, so I ask him to see for himself, but he doesn't. My brother comes out from inside the house and as he does, I see two dog-like shapes coming up the driveway towards all of us. I warn my brother to watch out, thinking they are wolves, but as they enter the light, I notice they are foxes. My brother prepares to defend himself, but after seeing that they are foxes, he lets down his guard. One fox is red, and the other is kind of calico. But mostly dark colors. Then three kits come from behind and I can tell these are the children of the two other foxes. I noticed all three kits were different colors as well. One looked like the mother (the red one), the other like the father, and the last was some odd brown.

Well that's about all there is for me to recall. I should really get these analyzed.

Ferris Wheel

Why are my dreams so hard to explain? They take off from one scene to another SO fast! Well here goes.

It starts off with me driving REEALLY fast while behind slower cars. I decide to take the left lane and pass them when suddenly, the left lane starts to merge with the right because of construction workers. I barely pass all the cars and avoid hitting the workers. When I get to my destination, one of the other drivers gets out. It's one of my older sisters and she starts lecturing me about speeding and that I could have hurt someone. I told her I didn't know about the construction, but she wouldn't listen.

I run into an old friend. She used to be my best friend until we grew apart and had a final argument. I have such anger towards her, but at the same time I miss her terribly. She starts yelling at me and telling me that I can't leave my shoes and purse lying around or we'll get in trouble. Apparently we're at some kind of Nazi camp and everyone gets in trouble for everything. She screams at me with disgust because she knows they'll be in trouble for what I've done. I go to the bathroom and found her purse and shoes there. They were the ones out of place, not mine. I brought them to her quietly and she said something like, "You mean, it was my fault this whole time?" and I walked away without a word. I went back to the bathroom and wrote "I(heart)U Jenn" on a napkin. Then, I decided to write it all out, "I love you, Jenn." but the pen ran out of ink halfway through.

I walked through another door in the bathroom which led outside. There were many people running around shouting orders and people were hiding in fear. I hid with a few people in a run down trailer and this part gets blurry. I remember escaping and flying in a small airplane over an amusement park. There's a ferris wheel and I decide to jump from the plan onto it. There's an announcer that constantly makes comments to everyone on the ferris wheel. He begins to tell me about the attractions at this new place and then mentions he likes my shorts. I jump off the ferris wheel onto a HUGE swing set. I remember having fun and smiling right before Jabe wakes me up with the television.

I wonder if I'll ever make sense of my dreams??? I feel like they mean SOMETHING.

Where's my 3 wishes?

I had a dream I was fishing with my brother and the fish were odd looking. They were kind of "pointy" and in a triangular shape. I was using a smaller fish as bait to catch a bigger fish and I could see into the water. As my bait came closer to the boat, there were two large fish watching it come their way. They were only about 5 feet from the boat, and they both looked hungry. One of the two reluctantly bit the line, but it was a slow, non-aggressive bite and he let me pull him right out of the water without a fight. The fish then asked me to take him to the other side of this humongous lake so that he wouldn't be abused by the other fish anymore. I agreed and the rest of my dream was devoted to getting him to the other side without killing him. I don't remember any more details, but I don't think I got to finish the dream and release him. Ah, well.

Guinea pigs.. EVERYWHERE

Not alot a detail I can remember for this one. All I know is... I was breeding guinea pigs and I had sooo many that I didn't have enough food to feed all of them. There were over 200. Some were dead and others were on the verge of starving to death. There were about 10-15 to each cage and I remember feeling like I had forgotten about them for weeks up until now. I had a heavy feeling of guilt for not taking care of them. I had a little food left in a bag, and I remember giving it to the largest cage with the most guinea pigs in it. I didn't know what to do for the others.

That's it. I swear my dreams never get any better or easier to understand.

Animal Control

Okay, I had several dreams last night, but the only one I can remember enough of is this:(for a bit of reference) I tried working for Animal Control assuming I would be out in the field capturing animals (the position WAS called Animal Control Officer). I ended up cleaning dog poo.. so I quit. So my dream is staged at the animal control office, and a friend of mine got the job that I had quit. She was cleaning out a cat box, and I just wanted to see how she was doing. I walked up to her and we talked, I told her this is why I quit. Just then, my old supervisor walked up to me and started yelling at me. She thought I was trying to make my friend quit the job. I promised that I wasn't, but she ordered me to leave. (the rest of this wont make sense). So I walked home and met an ex co-worker along the way. I told her I needed a bag of ice and she offered to carry it for me. The bag ended up being about 10 times the size of a regularly large bag of ice! We talked as she carried it, and we came across a wading pool that some people in my high school were in. I walked quicker and didn't speak to any of them. My friend and I crossed the wading pool by walking through it. Once I got home, you can imagine the bag of ice didn't fit in the freezer, so my friend put it on the cabinet, and the ice spilled across the floor. I know it went on from there, but my dreams switch scenes so fast, I can't remember the rest.

School (again)

I'm amazed at how many times a month I dream about school. It's almost the majority of dreams, I tend to think. Or are they the only ones I remember when I wake up? Anyway, this one I only remember in fragments. (Good for you). All I know is I'm at my old school, walking around the track that surrounds our school's football field. I'm talking to a few friends, but the only one I recognize is Bakka. (For those of you who don't know, Bakka was my best friend until age 22). Course I didn't have many friends in high school. Maybe that's why I didnt notice the others! They didn't really exist! HA! Anyway, I signed up to be on the track team (and I'm a terrible runner). So did Bakka and I was afraid I was going to embarrass myself because even though she's overweight (so am I), she is very determined. Then we walked to my parent's house and the door was locked. I snuck in through an alternate entrance (don't remember how) and before I unlocked the door for everyone, I struggled to quickly clean. My brother was sleeping on the couch and woke up confused. My friends let themselves in somehow and one of them covered their nose. I was embarrassed of the condition the house was in. That's all I can remember, huh... HA! This was a short one and I wrote alot. MAN! Well thanks for reading. Just know that most of these don't make sense to me, but you're more than welcome to add comments or try to decipher what you think they mean.
